The Instructor Led course is perfect for new gun owners or a great refresher course. Satisfies WV CCW requirements. It takes place in a traditional classroom and range environment. Students will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination and receive a certificate upon course completion.

You will learn handgun safety, loading, unloading, ammunition and malfunctions, cleaning and the basic shooting skills necessary to complete the course.

~REQUIRED: Eye & Ear Protection (if you don't have, we do), Ball Cap, Closed toe shoes.

~Gun: bring your own or use our .22lr 's (gun MUST be unloaded & cased/bagged)

~Ammo: (practice rounds) 100 rounds min. (150 suggested) (if using our guns, .22lr, high velocity, ammo required. Can be supplied for $10 fee.)

~Pen/Paper for note taking.

~Short lunch break, bring snacks/lunch, water.

~Dress appropriate for weather. Range time is outdoors.
