About The Event
The Instructor Led course is perfect for new gun owners or a great refresher course. Classroom setting in the a.m. then outdoor range in the afternoon.
You will learn handgun safety, loading, unloading, ammunition and malfunctions, cleaning concepts and the basic shooting skills necessary to complete the course. An NRA certificate is awarded upon course completion.
~REQUIRED: Eye & Ear Protection (if you don't have, we do), Ball Cap, Closed toe shoes.
~Gun**: Bring your own (gun MUST be unloaded & cased/bagged)
~Ammo: (practice rounds) 100 rounds min. (150 suggested)
**RENTAL FIREARMS AVAILABLE +$20 fee ( .22lr semi-auto; includes ammo)
~Pen/Paper for note taking.
~Short lunch break, bring snacks/lunch, water.
~Dress appropriate for weather. Range time is outdoors.
